hey there! i’m rebecca

Rebecca Harris is a designer based in Philadelphia who recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Industrial Design.

Rebecca approaches problems from an empathetic perspective and believes in exploratory design that considers user needs from every angle. She grew up with robotics, learning mechanical systems and programming, which taught her to combine engineering with design at every opportunity. Her experience in engineering and manufacturing, as well as her love of user centered design, has allowed her to begin her career in contract furniture at MillerKnoll.

When she isn’t designing you can find Rebecca touring art galleries and museums, coaching high school rowing on the schuylkill river, or mentoring competition robotics teams about their engineering documentation.
